Message	except i was hard on the accleartion and grabbed 2nd gear hard went to shift into third and it felt like my shifter fell down but everytime i let go of the shifter it made this terrible noise. Checked out the price for a new plate (they don't sell just the rubber piece) it was $43.00, so i just bent a piece of metal took some rubber bushing i had at work welded it on, put it on the car and now the car shifts just fine.
